By accessing or using the Cartoscout mobile application, website, and real-time street parking mapping services (collectively, the 'Service'), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Cartoscout. If you do not agree to these terms, you are prohibited from using the Service and must discontinue use immediately.

2. Service Usage and Intellectual Property Rights

Cartoscout provides real-time data to assist users in locating street parking. All software, map data, proprietary algorithms, and content provided through the Service are the exclusive property of Cartoscout and are protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial navigation purposes, subject to the following restrictions:

• You shall not use the Service while operating a motor vehicle in a manner that violates local traffic laws or distracts from safe driving practices.
• You are prohibited from scraping, harvesting, or using automated systems to extract real-time parking data for commercial use or redistribution without express written consent.
• You may not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or circumvent any security features or data protocols used to deliver the real-time mapping interface.

3. Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided on an 'AS IS' and 'AS AVAILABLE' basis. Cartoscout does not warrant that parking availability data is 100% accurate, complete, or updated in real-time due to the dynamic nature of city traffic. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cartoscout shall not be liable for any parking fines, towing fees, traffic accidents, or indirect damages resulting from reliance on the Service's mapping data.

4. Governing Law, Modifications, and Contact Information

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Cartoscout is incorporated, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action or proceeding related to your access to or use of the Service shall be instituted in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.

Cartoscout reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the effective date at the top of this page.
